Dutcher Crossing
Where Exceptional Wines, Family Traditions, and Warm Hospitality Come Together Nestled in the picturesque Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, Dutcher Crossing Winery is a boutique winery celebrated for its exceptional, handcrafted wines, breathtaking vineyard views, and genuine hospitality. Under the passionate leadership of proprietor Debra Mathy, Dutcher Crossing has become a beloved destination for wine enthusiasts seeking distinctive, small-production wines that reflect the character of California's finest vineyards. When Debra purchased the winery in 2007, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning a winery in Sonoma County. What began with 35 acres and five wines has grown into an impressive portfolio of more than 30 wines sourced from premier vineyards throughout Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties. Today, the winery owns 75 acres of estate-designated vineyards. Guided by winemaker Nick Briggs and the legacy of founding winemaker Kerry Damskey, Dutcher Crossing produces beautifully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other distinctive varietals. Its philosophy centers on three essential principles: exceptional wines, a deep connection to the land, and heartfelt hospitality. The winery's iconic penny-farthing bicycle label pays tribute to Debra's passion for cycling and honors her father, who encouraged her to follow her dreams. This personal touch reflects the spirit of Dutcher Crossing, where family, friendship, and a passion for sharing extraordinary wines are at the heart of everything they do.
