SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc. announced new dates for its annual fundraiser, SWFL Wine & Food Festival. Because of Hurricane Ian, the SWFL Food & Wine Festival postponed its two-day festival to January 19 and 20, 2024.
The two-day weekend-long extravaganza kicks off at the Chef Vintner Dinners to be hosted in private luxury homes throughout the region to experience culinary creations from honorary chefs and mindfully paired with exclusive wineries. The Grand Tasting & Live Auction will take place on Saturday, Jan. 20th at Suncoast Arena at Florida SouthWestern State College.
To continue its mission to enhance pediatric healthcare in our region, SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc. started the SWFL Cares Relief Fund to support medical employees directly impacted by Hurricane Ian. Donations are being accepted at event.gives/ian. All funds raised go directly to medical professionals right here in Southwest Florida who have felt the devastating effects of Hurricane Ian. To date, more than $71,000 has been raised and 100% of those funds will go to affected medical professionals.
