Southwest Florida Children’s Charities, Inc. is proud to feature the 2026 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest Child Artist, Remi Roland. Equally proud parents, Chef Brian Roland and Nicole Roland, owners of Crave Culinaire by Chef Brian Roland, have consistently supported regional charity organizations for years, including SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc. and Golisano Children’s Hospital of SWFL, where their adorable daughter, Remi, has been treated on several occasions in her first four years.
Under the expert and caring guidance of acclaimed Sanibel-based artist, Rachel Pierce, Remi’s original masterpiece titled, “I Want to See the World,” will be on display and
available during the SWFL Wine & Food Fest Auction on February 28 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. Funds raised during the weekend of Chef Vintner Dinners, Grand Tasting of gourmet food, award-winning, prized wines, and Live Auction Lots, will support ongoing efforts to provide and enhance treatment and services for pediatric patients and families at Golisano Children’s Hospital of SWFL.
Remi and her parents have persevered through several physical and emotional challenges since Chef Roland’s catastrophic accident during a catering event in Naples. With the significant care of medical professionals and unwavering support of the Southwest Florida community, they have rebounded and are back to doing what they do best, living, laughing, and loving, with grace and compassion.
The Child Artist program allows young patients who benefited from treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital of SWFL to take an active role in raising money. The child artist program is sponsored in part by California Closets of SWFL. All of the names of the donors’ from each year on listed on the child artist wall on the second floor of the Golisano Children’s Hospital of SWFL along with the artwork from each child artist from every year for staff and visitors to enjoy all year round.
