SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc. recently hosted a kickoff event in anticipation of the 2020 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest, bringing trustees, sponsors and supporters together to commence another season of spirited philanthropy. The cocktail reception was hosted by trustees Jason and Kelly Stephens at their home in Naples. Chairs Brooke Denson and Sandy Stilwell Youngquist kicked off the evening with this year’s theme, “Painting A Difference – Putting Kids First” and featured a preview of once-in-a-lifetime trips to be auctioned off at the grand tasting and live auction of the 2020 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest that will take place at noon on Feb. 22nd at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, supporting SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc.’s efforts to grow much-needed pediatric Ophthalmology services in our region including the expansion of clinical space in a new facility to improve access to care for the children and families of Southwest Florida. Celebrating its 12th year, the two-day Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest will feature Chef Vintner Dinners on Friday, Feb. 21, creatively hosted in private luxury homes across the region. Guests will experience artful cuisine created by celebrated chefs and expertly paired with vintners from some of the finest and most exclusive wineries.
