Steven Conner is fortunate to have a diverse team of individuals who have come all over the world. They are a constant inspiration to expand guests’ palates by using multicultural recipes and incorporating them into his menu selections.
Conner is always open to cutting edge culinary experiments, and one ingredient that is novel concept to our culture but has old roots in other regions of the world is tobacco leaves. He uses this ingredient in marinades and dry rubs. The leaves give an oak-aged richness to the meat with subtle notes of leather and sweet mulled wine spices which allow for a bold and flavorful culinary experience.
Having traveled extensively throughout his career allowed him the opportunity to meet some amazing Chefs and mentors from all over the world. Conner is passionate about having a high heat wood-burning oven. The scent of roasting meats, artisan bread, and specialty pizza flood the restaurant when cooking in his oven, leaving guests with a sensory experience like no other. Making mouths happy is the goal Chef Conner strives for every day.
