SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc. presented its 2025 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest on Jan. 18th, with Live Auction proceeds totaling more than $2.5 million in support of the nonprofit’s efforts to enhance pediatric healthcare for the children and families of Southwest Florida. This was a milestone event for the organization surpassing over $30 Million in funds donated to children’s healthcare since 2004.
A record crowd of nearly 400 bidders came together for the Grand Tasting and Live Auction of the 16th annual event, with festivities held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. The theme for the event was Mischief & Miracles: A speakeasy soirée for children’s healthcare showcasing a 1920’s vibe complete with a secret speakeasy room and guests adorning flappers and feathers. Live Auction proceeds will be directed to Golisano Children’s Hospital for the new pediatric outpatient surgery center to help ease the at capacity children’s hospital and free up space to provide life-saving care for children throughout the region.
On January 17, 2024, attendees sipped wine & dined at one of eight Chef Vintner Dinners hosted by community members throughout the region with vintners from California.
